FLORIX - BLUTENAÜSDUNNÜNG
Rinieri is proud to announce a new collaboration with the Trentino start-up Agroxx, from which Florix, the innovative flower thinning machine that respects plants and the environment, was born. Presented for the first time at the Rinieri stand at Interpoma in Bolzano 22, Florix eliminates excess flowers with delicacy and precision, in full respect of the plant and the environment.
Agroxx is a company founded in 2021 that is characterised by continuous technological innovation, conducted through the excellent skills of its founders and a state-of-the-art mechatronic research and prototyping centre. The Agroxx team designs and manufactures agricultural and operating machinery with primary focus on environmental protection and holds worldwide patents destined to revolutionise flower thinning.

Florix is a mechanised thinning system to remove flowers with movable arms, patented by Agroxx, that adapts to the plant, respects it, reduces operating time and gives advantages in fruit size and floral return.
Florix thinning machine is studyed on apples and peaches orchards, but Agroxx is developping new machines dedicated to apricot and plum crops .
The revolutionary floral thinning system is effective and sustainable, ideal for organic farming, able to significantly reduce the use of chemicals in traditional fruit farming, and also saves time by reducing the running costs of the entire plant.
Florix is versatile and adapts to the plant on which it operates. WHY IS FLORIX IDEAL FOR ORGANIC FARMING?
It is confirmed because organic farming has no synthetic molecules and the organic molecules available are very problematic and sensitive depending on the weather. Floral mechanical thinning is the real alternative for thinning in organic farming also in function of the following year's return to flowering. Moreover, in the current year there is an increase in fruit size, thanks to a reduction in competition between the fruits themselves. The use of the Florix mechanical thinning machine is also sustainable because it respects the environment and does not damage the plants.
THE FLORIX INNOVATION
In contrast to other mechanical thinning machines, Florix manages to penetrate deeper into the plants, thanks to articulated arms that work independently. The result is more effective flower thinning, making it more efficient than standard machines, which instead have a fixed central structure that rotates on which the wires are attached.
Florix is available in 2 models: the STANDARD model with a fixed central frame, the same as the Rinieri CRF pruning machine, to which the support bar is attached with movable arms, in 3 different options 8 - 10 or 12 movable arms, or the FLORIX PLUS model with 10 elements and a special frame that has an integrated folding system for road transport.
